(or in case of short-circuit or ground fault in the RESET switch), the enabling
current paths cannot be activated. Without the RESET switch monitoring,
the terminal Y2 must be used. The contacts of relay K1 trigger the relays
K2/K4 and K3/K5. These become self-locking through their own contacts.
Simultaneously, the contacts of relays K2/K4 and K3/K5 de-energize relay
K1, which goes into its off-position after a drop-out delay time tR1. After
this switch-on phase, the three non-delayed enabling current paths which
are intended for the outputs (13/14, 23/24, 33/34) and the delayed
enabling current path (57/58) are closed. The control contact (41/42) is

If the number of enabled current paths is not sufficient, two external K1 K2 K4 K3 K5
contactors can be used for expansion. They are driven through one of the S11 S33 S34
enabling current paths of the SNV 2020-17. The function of the external S33 S34 Y1 Y2 14 24 34 42 58 A2
contactors is monitored by their own NC contacts connected in series to
the relay K1 (Y2). The contactors K6 and K7 must have positively guided RESET Feedback Circuit
contacts.
In order to match the off-delay time of the enabling current path 57/58
M
to the process cycle time, the off delay time can prematurely be set to 0
by switching off the supply voltage at A1. The position of the safety sliding gate is monitored through channel 1 (S12)
and channel 2 (S22). The SNV 2020-17 is activated through the RESET switch.
If the sliding safety gate opens, the Emergency-Stop Relays returns to its off-
position. The enabling current paths 13/14, 23/24, 33/34 open. If the safety
gate is closed again the Emergency-Stop Relay can be activated again through
the RESET switch.
