Product Scope Description

Design, supply and install a technical solution (bucket elevator and over head conveyors system) for the
Twix minis product, the system will recieve the product from the exit of packaging machines# 3, 4, 5 by
mechanical Nozole designed to convert the product from the exit of each packaging machine to (A1)
Bucket elevator conveyor units (two units to be delivered, with smart flexable design to be installed on any
of the 3 packaging machines #3,4 and 5) taking this into account in the control circuit and electrical
connection components)).
The new (A1) bucket elevator conveyor units are carried out to new (A2) overhead conveyor belt, which
is installed at a height proportional to the actual position of the raised sizes and allows easy access to it, to
perform maintenance and cleaning easily and conveniently, Taking into account also in the design machine
speeds and production rate (the average speed of one machine is about 1000 pics/min, the average weight
of the one piece is from 14 to 20 gm, and the average weight of the final carton box is from 7 to 9 kg).
The overhead conveyor belt will transfer after receiving it from any of the three machines to (A2.1) the
drop-down semi-automatic filling unit (Dropdown Shot with pnumatic Flab, this flab will opens in two
directions to fill 2 cartons box or crates, alternately in order to accommodate the requred speed, which is
about 6 to 8 cartons box or crates per minute), considering the height of about 90 cm from the ground, this
is the appropriate height for the worker.
The filling station area at the end of the system, will contained a manual weghing unit, date coder unit and
auto tape sealer machine, (during filling the cartons box or crates, it will weighed on the manual weghier,
the manual weghier signal will linked to (A2.1)the drop-down semi-automatic filling unit to divert the flap
to filling the parallel carton box or creates automatically, add on additional sensor to confirm the exist of
the cartons box, then the carton is entered on the tape sealer unit and date code printing machine.
The manual weghing unit, tape sealer unit and date coder printing machine. Will be deleverd by MARS, but
it will be included in the scope of providing electric source and comp. air control will be supplied controlled
from the control panel of the system

Designing, suppling and installing new Bucket elevator and over head conveyors system including the
following:
 Qty 3 SS Mechanical Nozoles for the discharge of Packging machines# 3, 4 and 5
 Qty 2 Bucket elevator conveyor units
 Overhead conveyor belt
 Drop-down semi-automatic filling unit
 Filling station area (Manual weghing unit, Date coder unit and auto tape sealer machine)

Project Acceptance Criteria


 Equipment delivery and installation as per technical drawings
 Correct Date coding position for both Pouch & Outer case
 Acceptable sealing quality for the carton
 Acceptance weghing control

Project Exclusions
 Modification to produce Twix Minis on wrapping leg

 Production plan impact on the project timeline
 Line will stopped due to the installation 4 working days almost.
