EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

During my internship at Brand-comm Public Relations, I embarked on a multifaceted journey


of learning, growth, and hands-on experience in the realm of human resources management.
The tenure not only allowed me to perform a diverse array of tasks but also provided me with
invaluable insights into the intricacies of HR operations within a dynamic corporate
environment.

Central to my role was the meticulous management of attendance records and work-from-home
(WFH) timesheets. In an era where remote work has become increasingly prevalent, ensuring
accurate records of employee work hours is vital for payroll management and overall
organizational transparency. This responsibility honed my attention to detail and organizational
skills, equipping me with essential competencies for future HR roles.

Beyond administrative duties, I actively engaged in initiatives aimed at fostering employee


satisfaction and well-being. Sending anniversary and greeting mails to employees not only
served as a gesture of appreciation but also contributed to nurturing a positive and inclusive
company culture. These endeavours underscored the significance of employee engagement in
enhancing organizational productivity and morale.

A significant portion of my internship involved supporting the recruitment process. Leveraging


platforms like LinkedIn, I screened potential candidates, aligning their skills with the
company's requirements. Crafting and dispatching offer letters demanded clear communication
skills and attention to detail, facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Moreover, managing communication for placement drives and maintaining recruitment
trackers enabled me to monitor progress and ensure the timely fulfilment of staffing needs.

Organizing meetings and events constituted another integral aspect of my role. Utilizing tools
such as Google Calendar, I scheduled meetings and ensured that all stakeholders were well-
informed and prepared. Evaluating Key Result Areas (KRAs) scores provided insights into

employee performance, facilitating informed decision-making, and fostering a culture of
accountability within the organization. Additionally, maintaining comprehensive minutes of
meetings ensured that discussions and action items were documented for future reference,
enhancing organizational efficiency and transparency.

Active involvement in the recruitment process afforded me invaluable learning opportunities.


From organizing pre-placement talks to conducting assignment rounds and interview sessions,
I gained practical insights into talent acquisition strategies and best practices. These
experiences not only honed my interpersonal and communication skills but also deepened my
understanding of the pivotal role HR plays in driving organizational success.

Client satisfaction is paramount in the field of public relations, and I actively contributed to
this endeavour by conducting client satisfaction surveys. Gathering feedback enabled us to
continually refine and improve our services, thereby enhancing client retention and loyalty.
Additionally, preparing probation status reports for employees facilitated timely evaluations
and interventions, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.

One of the highlights of my internship was the opportunity to receive training on FactoHR
Payroll software. This immersive experience equipped me with practical skills in payroll
management, bolstering my technical proficiency and expanding my repertoire of HRIS tools.
Moreover, the collaborative environment at Brand-comm Public Relations fostered a culture
of learning and innovation. I had the privilege of working alongside seasoned professionals
who generously shared their expertise and insights, further enriching my learning experience.

In retrospect, my internship at Brand-comm Public Relations has been instrumental in shaping


me into a more competent and confident HR professional. The hands-on experience, coupled
with the wealth of learning opportunities and mentorship received, has laid a strong foundation
for my future endeavours in the field of human resources management. I am deeply grateful
