In today’s world the management ability is in so demand in the company for doing
the better managerial work. The person must have the knowledge of the
management this knowledge is not only based on thousand on theoretical but also on
practical aspect. In short, for being a good manager a person must have both the
knowledge theoretical as well as practical.

This basis for this research A study on various production components of


Gautam Technocast Private Limited originally stemmed from my passion for
developing better methods of production and preservation. As the world moves
further into the digital age, generating vast amounts of data and born digital content,
there will be a greater need to access legacy materials created with outdated
technology and techniques. How will we access this content? It is my passion to not
only find out, but to develop tools to break down barriers of accessibility for future
generations.

In modern days human life is very busy life. In this life man wanted to reach one
place very quickly because they have no time to satisfy this want some scientist
countries different vehicle.

I hope that report will provide all necessary as per the requirement of syllabus about

1. Introduction of the Company

Casting is manufacturing process in which a liquid material is usually pou


poured into a
mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to
solidify. The solidified part is also known as a Casting is manufacturing process in
which a casting, which is ejected or broken out of the mold to complete the proce
process.
Casting materials are usually metals or various cold setting materials that cure after
mixing or more components together, example are epoxy, concrete, plaster and clay.
Casting is most often used for making complex shapes that would be otherwise
difficult

firm. The industry is setup by a young, enthusiastic & experienced & experienced
entrepreneur Mr. Prafulbhai Dhami (Managing Director). Gautam group of
companies have become one of the leading foundries in Gautam, India by producing
ductile and grey cast iron casting. They have a production capacity of 24000 metric
ton per annu

Their castings find wide application in industries such as Tractor and Automobile.
Machine Tools, Electrical Transmission and Machinery, Diesel locomotive, Pumps
etc. They directly supply to OEM’S like Mahindra & Mahindra, Escort, Eicher, Asia
motor works, ABB etc. Gautam group is an ISO 9001, and moving towards IATF
16949 certified company ensuring maximum value addition to our customers by
supplying Quality products trough constant improvement in its designing method,
manufacturing process. Quality control and customer service. At Gautam they are
committed to achieve total customer satisfaction by rendering best quality
components together with ethical business standard and integrity.

Production facilities at Gautam include and cupola furnaces, Molding machines,


Sand plant, shot blasting machines. High tech laboratory and various testing
equipment such as spectrometer, hardness testing, strength testing (UTM) etc.
Gautam group machining division are upgraded with new range of CNC, VMC and
HMC machines so that they can the most complexly configured component as per
customer requirement. Use of these new techniques of production helps them to
archive high rate of versatility and in turn allows their customer to consolidate
patterns at a single for consistently high quality and competitiveness.

2.1 Explanation

Gautam Technocast is producing the Tractor and Auto parts. The production process
is the Casting and Machining. Gautam Technocast is known as a renowned and
supplier of advanced range of products like Pulley
Pulley,, Housing, Front Excel Support,
Counter weight, Bush, body, Retainer, Sleeves, etc. product of the company
conform to international market standards and guidelines.

The company’s production planning procedure is applicable for timely processing of


all customer

products stock statement as in input to production planning process. The company
produces the product as per customers demand or need.

In production department there are two main typ

Gautam Technocast in this field for last 57 years and have almost all facilities to
manufactures quality casting. Gautam Technocast supply Grey Cast Iron ranging from
1 kg. To 10000 Kgs. And S.G. Iron up to 250 kgs. Single piece. Gautam Technocast
has to be annual turnover on 2017-18 in 101Corers.

3. Production Development Process

3.1 Explanation

First of all purchase department purchase raw material including Casting from the
outside till they are having fully inside production facility.

All kind of machining is done in this stage. Workers are doing Productions under the
supervision of supervisor. At this stage, work of Fabrication and work of powder
coating are done.

After production, all goods are going for 1st stage inspection. Once they get
approval, it’s going for assembly.

Here all the parts are assembling which are purchased and which are produced both.

And at last quality controller check the quality of machine and at last and its
dispatch department firstly do work of packaging and then its Dispatched.

The Key Features of the Production:

 The production is done with high volume.

 There is a requirement of large inventory management as the production is


carried out in bulk.

 There will be one type of machinery used for all the process just the methods
may change a bit with ever product. The product, tools, material are
standardized.

 Production is done on anticipation on demand.

 Any fault in flow of production than it may have to stop the process to avoid the

At a glance if we want to talk about location selection any company should find the
best location as per their preference. but still, we can find the difference. This
difference is only based on need of owner. Here we have two companies namely
Gautam Techanocast Pvt. Ltd. And Jyoti CNC Automation Limited.

From this information we can analyse that both companies are situated at Metoda
GIDC. Both have their own competitive advantages.

software and they do updating in their technology also.

ourselves.

Supply chain management is important because it can help achieve several business
objectives. For instance, controlling manufacturing processes can improve product
quality, reducing the risk of recalls and lawsuits while helping to build a strong
consumer brand.

Supply chain management has five major functions. These include purchasing,
operations, logistics, resource management, and information workflow.

to implement. It requires large investment in terms of time, money and other
