REQUIREMENT OF THE STUDY

• CASE STUDY:
Government Building – UiTM residential colleges
Age of more than 20 years
Gross Floor Area >300,000 sf
• Current practices of managing operation and maintenance.
• Students (in group of 5) are required to :-
a. Identify the organization current practices of managing the operation and
maintenance of the organizational building and facilities.
b. Review the organizational current practices by identifies its fitness and
performance.
c. Undertake the preparation of indicative documentation and preparation
for the phase (ii).

The recommendation contents are as follows:

a. Introduction to the Case Study Building, Aims, Objective, Scope, Limitation

b. The Inventory Study of the Case Study Building (Building Structure, Building Services and
Building Facilities)
c. Currents and Issues in Maintenance and Operation Management
d. Currents and Issues in Information Technology, Quality and Risk Management
e. Current and Issues in Financial Maintenance Management

The written format must be used (A4 Paper Size), (Times New Roman), (Font Size Heading: 14;
Normal Text: 12) and (Justify). Report cover in a WHITE colour.
