The biggest problems of the 21st century

Every century has its major problems, as does this one. Things like epidemics, changing
weather conditions and inequality are taking a toll both on humans and the planet.

On the one hand, we have had several epidemics like Covid-19, Ebola outbreaks and the Zika
virus. In addition, all these viruses have been the cause of death for millions of people which
impact our society and global health systems.

On the other hand, the changing weather conditions have been a major concern, however many
people don't take it seriously. Global warming is the cause of many natural disasters, not to
mention the melting ice caps, which contribute to rising sea levels, threatening ecosystems.

Furthermore, another significant problem is inequality. The pay gap between the rich and the
poor has reached an all-time high, as well as the unequal access to basic needs such as healthcare
and education

In conclusion all of these big problems have impacted our planet and humanity greatly and in
my opinion are the biggest problems of the 21st century.
