• Problems observed:-
• 1)Accidents due to construction work of the highways
• 2)Issue regarding the progress of work being stopped
• 3) Lack of supplies at dabha on the highway
Research Plan:
1) Kokan District Mumbai- Goa highway NH-66 ; Aman Family Dhaba near Baktiyar
pur NH-31 and stakeholders to study.
2) Capturing individual data points and insights, data to understand needs and pains of
people.

Problem / Possibility Finding:
1. Activities in the problem space – Construction of Highways and maintenance of highways. For Safety and
employment opportunity of People., Labour- Construction; Maintenance – government officials; Safety-
Police officer; Employment – Dhaba Wala's, Different Signs and symbols are used to aware the people about
road safety , Reflectors, Street lights, Meshnet, Safety walls are used for these purposes.

2. Existing Systems, Processes, Products used – Less no. Of reflectors are there , Street light are not
sufficient enough, Proper maintenance of safety walls are not done.

3. Technologies/techniques presently being used to make things easy for the Customer :- Street lights,
Reflectors, trucks for dhaba's , Ambulances for emergency needs.

PART 3 : PRODUCT SOLUTION

PROTO-TYPE TEST, VALUE PROPOSITIONS,
BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS
PROTO TYPE- ARDUINO BASED VEHICLE ACCIDENT ALERT SYSTEM
USING GPS , GSM , ACCELEROMETER
• Accelerometer detects the sudden change in the axes of
vehicle and GSM module sends the alert message on your
Mobile Phone with the location of the accident. Location of
accident is sent in the form of Google Map link, derived
from the latitude and longitude from GPS module. The
Message also contains the speed of vehicle in knots. See
the Demo Video at the end. This Vehicle Accident alert
project can also be used as a Tracking System and much
more, by just making few changes in hardware and
software.
GPS Module and Its Working:
GPS stands for Global Positioning System and used to detect the
Latitude and Longitude of any location on the Earth, with exact UTC
time (Universal Time Coordinated). GPS module is used to track the
location of accident in our project. This device receives the
coordinates from the satellite for each and every second, with time
and date. We have previously extracted $GPGGA string in Vehicle
Tracking System to find the Latitude and Longitude Coordinates.
