LESSON 1
e ۱ ﺳﺒﻖ
Jazam (Sukoon)
In part one lesson, the leaner has already been taught words with Harakaat (Zabar/ Zer /Pesh). Now he
has to learn how to join the letters with a Jazm/ sukoon. It must be made clear to the learner that a
Jazm/ sukoon joins two letters. The Jazm/ sukoon will appear on the second letter only.

َواِ ْن ا َ َﺳﲝ ْ ُ ْ ﲔ
ﺖ ﻓَ ُﻬ َﻮ َﻳ ْﺸ ِﻔ ْ ِ َواِذَا َﻣ ِﺮ ْﺿ ُ
ﳏ ﳉ ْﻢ َﻋ ْ ُ ْ ﻟ َْﻢ َﻳﻠِ ْﺪ َو ﻟ َْﻢ ُﻳ ْﻮﻟ َْﺪ ﻓَ َﻤﺎ ﻓَ ْﻮﻗ ََﻬﺎ َ ﺻ َﺮﻓَ ُ
ﻓَ ْﻦ َو ْ
ال َو ْل ﻓَ ْ
ﺎن ف ﻟ َْﻒ ﻓَﺎ ْد ﻓَ ْﺪ ﻻ ْ
ﲝي َﺷ ْﻲ
ٰل َﺷ ْ ٰﱃ ﺎل ِﺑ ْﻞ ﻗًﺎ ًق ِﺑ ْ
ُء ِر ٰﺑﻮا ِر ٰب ُؤ ﺎي ِﺟ ْﻲ ٰدى ٰد ِﺟ ْ
ئ ِء ُء ْن ِ ُؤ ْن َؤا َءا ُﺗ ْﺆ ُت ْء
ا َ ٰﰉ ُﻫ ٰﺪى َﺑ ٰ| َﻣ ٰﱴ ِر ْزﻗًﺎ ﻋ َٰ|
ٰا ٰوى ﻓَﺎ ْﻧ َﻔ َﺠ َﺮ ْت ﻓَﺎ ْد ُ◌ﻉ ﻟَ َﻨﺎ ﻓَﺎ ﻟْ ٰﺌ َﻦ
ۡ ٰ
ﲝى ٍءﺎى َء َﻳﺎ ْﻳ َ ُﺲ ﻟِ َﺸ ْ ِﺑﺎِ #ﺧ َﺮ ِة َو ِﺟ ْٓ
ال َواﻟْ ُﻔ َﺆا َد ُﺗ ْﺆ ِﻣ ُﻨ ْﻮ َن ِﺑ ُﺴ َﺆ ِ َﺷ ْ ًﺌﺎ
ﻚُﺑ َﺮ ٰ ٓء ُؤا اُوﻟ ٰ ٓ ِ َٕ ² ِﻣﺎ َﺋ َﺔ َﻳﺬْ َر ُؤﻛ ُْﻢ
ا َ ُؤ ْﻧ ِﺰ َل ﲝن َﺻﻠٰﻮةٌ َﺧﻠ َ َﻖ ْاﻻ ِ ْﻧ َﺴ َ
َﻀ ِﻞ اﻟ َْﻌ ِﻈ ْﻴ ِﻢ َرﻏ ًَﺪا ذُواﻟْﻔ ْ ِذى ا ْؤ ُﺗ ِﻢ
َۡ
َﲎٰﻳﻘ َْﻮ ِم ﻟِ َﻢ ُﺗ ْﺆذُ ْوﻧ ِ ْ َﺗ ْﻬ َﻮى اْ #ﻧ ُﻔ ُﺲ

LESSON 18 e ﺳﺒﻖ ۱۸
The Ustaaz should see that the learner does not stop at any place before the symbols.
ﳉ ْﻢ
ﻓَﺎ َ ْﻧ َﺠ ْ ٰﻨ ُ ﺤﺮ
َواِ ْذﻓَ َﺮ ْﻗ َﻨﺎ ِﺑﻜ ُُﻢ اﻟ َْﺒ ْ َ
ن َوا َ ْﻧ ُﺘ ْﻢ َﺗ ْﻨ ُﻈ ُﺮ ْو َ ن َواَﻏ َْﺮ ْﻗ َﻨ ٰﺎ ۤ ٰا َل ِﻓ ْﺮ َﻋ ْﻮ َ
ۡ ُ ٰ َ َ ۡ ُۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ
ﻟ َْﻮ ﮐ َﲝ ُﻧ ْﻮا َﻳ ْﻌﻠ َُﻤ ْﻮ َن
#خرهم قالت اولهم ِ
ﺖ َ و َﻻ ُﺗ ْﺮ ِﻫ ْﻘ ِ ْ
ﲎ
ﻗَﺎ َل ﻻ ُﺗ َﺆا ِﺧﺬْ ِﱏْ ِﺑ َﻤﺎ َﻧ ِﺴ ْﻴ ُ
َو َﻳﺬَ َر َك َو ض َوﻗ َْﻮ َﻣ ٗﻪ ﻟِ ُﻴﻔ ِْﺴ ُﺪ ْوا ِﰱ ْاﻻ َْر ِ
ك َﻣﺂ َء ِ َو ِﻗ ْﻴ َﻞ ٰۤﻳﺎ َ ْر ُ
ض ا ْﺑﻠ َ ِ ْ ﻚ ٰا ﻟِ َﻬ َﺘ َ
ض َوا َ ْﻋ ِﺮ ْ ف ُﺧ ِﺬ اﻟ َْﻌﻔ َْﻮ َوا ْ ُﻣ ْﺮ ِﺑﺎ ﻟ ُْﻌ ْﺮ ِ
ْٰ ْ
َﻋ ِﻦ !56ﻬ ﻠَ 01و ﻟ َِﺒ ْ َﺲ َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺮ ْوا ِﺑ ٖ ۤﻪ ا َ ْﻧﻔ َُﺴ ُﻬ ْﻢ
ًء ِ ّل ٍن َّر ٌر َّر ف َّر ٌ ًﻃ ِ ّﻞ ذً َّل

َء ِ ّل ِن َّر ُر َّر ف َّر ُ َﻃ ِ ّﻞ ذَ َّل

ﳉ ْﻮ ُﻧ ْﻮا َﻏﻔ ُْﻮ ٌر َّر ِﺣ ْﻴ ٌﻢ اَذًى ﻟ َّ ُﻬ ْﻢ َو َﺳ ًﻄﺎ ﻟِّ َﺘ ُ
ﷲ ُﻣ َﺤ ّﻤ ٌَﺪ َّر ُﺳ ْﻮ ُل ا ِ ﻛُـ ٌّﻞ ف َّر ِﺣ ْﻴ ٌﻢ َر ُء ْو ٌ
ﲔ ِﳏ ِذ ْﻛ ٌﺮ ﻟِّﻠ ْ ٰﻌﻠ َ ِﻤ ْ َ ﲑا ّﻣ ْ ُ ْ َﺧ ْ ً َﺷ ًّﺮا ّﻳَ َﺮهٗ
اﻟﺴ َﻤﺂ َء ﲝو َّ ﲎ ُﻧ ْﻮ ًرا ّﻧَ ْﻬ ِﺪ ْ
ي ِﻓ َﺮا ًﺷ َّ َو ﻟِ ًّﻴﺎ ّﻳَ ِﺮ ُﺛ ِ ْ

Waqf (Stopping)
Teach the learner that when there is a Harkat or Tanween on the last letter of a word before a stop, that letter is made
Saakin, and if it be a Tanween of a Zabar, then the last word is pronounced with an Alif. If it be a round Taa, it is read
as a Haa. The following are some symbols of waqf.
َد ﻟ َْﻮ ْه ٰا َﻣ ْﻦ َﲑ ْه ﻟ ََﻬ ْﺐ ِْﻚ ﻏ ْ َِوا ﻟِ َﺪﺗ ُر ُﺳ ْﻞ Read as

ﺞ ﺤ ﻟ ا ﴾﴿ ﻈﻴﻢ ِ ﲔ ﴿﴾ َﻋ ْ ِﺴ َﻲ ﴿﴾ ٰﺻ ِﺪ ِﻗYَ َ ﻓ01 ُﻫ َﻮ َﺣﺎ ِﻓ ٌﻆ

Noon - Qutni Read as
When one stops, then the tanween (Noon Qutni) should not be pronounced when beginning the following word.
The Alif that appears before the small noon should not be read when a stop is not made.
