METACOGNITION
It is commonly defined as “thinking about
thinking”. It is the awareness of the scope
and limitations of your current knowledge
and skills.

Metacognition is also not limited to the


thinking process of the individual. It also
includes keeping one’s emotions and
motivations while learning in check.

maintaining and improving your strengths

1. Identify three (3) to four (4) tasks or commitments that needs


prioritization and attention each day.
2. Determine the ranking each of these tasks and commitments
Self- accordingly. Ranking them in order to practice balancing.
management Remember, balancing is learning to how to bring flow in our life by
the way we juggle and prioritize our actions and commitment
aligned with our fulfilled life. Number 1 would serve as the
highest and topmost priority for that day. Thus, should be
manifested first among the rest.

3. Arrange your Ideal Day by “Timeboxing” each of these tasks


and commitments. Timeboxing your tasks would give structure,
Self- balance, and boundaries to each one of them. Timeboxing includes
management how long are you going to give each of these tasks and
commitments time. You need to set at least a starting time and
quitting time.
