Examination Policies
Booking the exam
Candidates should book their exam immediately after registration and no later than
seven days prior to the examination session start date.

Rescheduling the exam

Candidates may reschedule their exam within the same examination session up to 24
hours prior to their exam date at no charge, subject to availability. Log in to IIC's exam
portal to reschedule. Note that the original booking is withdrawn immediately once you
select to reschedule. If another suitable date is not available, you may need to defer to
an alternate examination session.

Contact your local institute if you need to reschedule less than 24 hours prior to your
exam date. A new registration will be processed, and the original proctor fee is not
refundable.

Cancellation
Contact your local institute to cancel an exam booking. The request must be received at
least 24 hours prior to the original exam booking or the proctor fee is non-refundable.
Additional fees may apply based on local institute policies.

Absence
If a candidate fails to log in to the exam, the original proctor fee is non-refundable.
Contact your local institute to register for a new exam sitting and pay the new proctor
fee. Additional fees may apply based on local institute policies.

Late login
If a candidate logs into their exam more than 15 minutes after the start time, they will be
unable to take the exam and will be marked absent. Contact your local institute to
register for a new exam sitting and pay the new proctor fee. Additional fees may apply
based on local institute policies.

Accommodation Requests
Limited accommodations can be provided in the online format. Accommodation Request
forms are available from your local institute. Submit the form with the required
documentation no later than two weeks prior to the start of registrations for the desired
examination session. Requests will be evaluated and if approved, the candidate will be
notified by email.

System failures
If an exam is interrupted due to a technical issue and cannot be resumed within 5
minutes after the interruption, the exam must be rescheduled. Contact your local
institute immediately.

If the issue is resolved within 5 minutes, the exam will resume, and you will generally be
given additional time equal to the time lost.

Failure to book exam

If a candidate is registered in an examination session, but fails to book an exam, the
proctor fee may be refundable. Contact your local institute for assistance.
