LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH GRADE III

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson learners should be able to Give the synonyms and antonyms of
common adjectives with 80% accuracy. ENG3G-IVh-5.6

A. Give the synonyms and antonyms of common adjectives.

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Drill:
 Unlocking of difficulty. Familiarization of words. (power point)

B. Review:
 Identify the adjectives in the sentences.

1. Arra is glad.
2. Darwin has a shiny coin.
3. The house is big.
4. Aice has a long hair.
5. Mark is drinking a hot milk.

C. Presentation:
 Show pictures with words that are synonyms and antonyms. (power point)

 Synonyms are words that have the same meaning. (power point)
 Antonyms are words that have opposite meaning. (power point)
 Remind learners that it is important not to judge the people appearances and learn to
appreciate how they are.
