MEDICATIONS FOR NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES (HYPERTENSION AND
DIABETES)

Rationale:
High blood pressure and increase blood sugar can make your heart work too hard and
lose its strength. The high force of blood flow can damage your blood vessels, making them
weak, stiff or narrower. Over time hypertension can harm several important organs, including
your heart, kidneys brain and eyes.
They’re also both of the top causes of mortality in the previous years, that leads to
cardiac arrest, shock and organ failure.

Objectives:

1. To prevent mortality due hypertension and increase blood sugar due to

unavailability/financial constraint to buy the said maintenance medications.
2. To promote health by providing their monthly maintenance medications.

11,650.00
2. Losartan 100 mg – 50 boxes x 222.75 =11,137.50
