A RESLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK

REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT THREE YEAR PLAN OFF BARNAGAY
CAPAYA, ANGELES CITY.

WHEREAS, disaster and emergencies serve as poignant reflections of societal

structures, both economically and socially, as well as the dynamics between societies and states,
and the interplay among decision-makers.

WHEREAS, annually, communities worldwide grapple with the harsh realities of

extreme climate change, with the Philippines, nestled within the Pacific Ring Of Fire, facing no
exemption; earthquakes, typhoons, and floods relentlessly impact tens of thousands of lives
across the nation;

WHEREAS, in accordance with Republic Act No. 10121, also known as the
Philippines Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Act of 2010, every Local Government
Unit (LGU) is mandated to formulate a comprehensive Local Disaster Risk Reduction And
Management Plan (ldrrmp), encompassing the four cruicial pillars of Disaster Risk Reduction
And Management: (1) disaster preparedness, (2) disaster response, (3) disaster prevention and
mitigation, and (4) rehabilitation and recovery;

WHEREAS, the BDRRM plan meticulously delineates activities aimed at bolstering

the resilience of Angeles City to with stand disasters;

WHEREAS, following thorough examination and deliberation on the presented plan,

the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Capaya has deemed it fitting to endorse the adoption of
the Local Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Plan for the period of 2023-2025;

THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Rafael G. Bondoc and duly seconded by the

members of Barangay Capaya Council, BE IT SOLVED as it hereby resolved a resolution
approving and adopting the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Three Year
Plan of Barangay Capaya, Angeles City

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to concered

offices for their information, guidance, and further appropriate action

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AND SIGNED, this day, 4th day of June 2024, at
Barangay Capya Angeles City.
