Project Overview:
My capstone project aims to improve car cleaning methods to make vehicles look stunning and
ensure customer satisfaction. I will begin by thoroughly researching current car cleaning
practices and understanding customer preferences. By analyzing the techniques and products
people currently use I can identify areas that need improvement. My goal is to innovate new and
improved car cleaning methods. This may involve experimenting with different cleaning products
or tools to find more effective solutions.

Once I develop some promising ideas I will first test them on my own car and then on others. I
will focus on achieving exceptional results both on the exterior and interior including fixing
scratches and applying protective coatings. After applying these new techniques I will gather
feedback from customers to evaluate their satisfaction. This feedback will help me determine if
the new methods are preferred over traditional ones and if they make car cleaning easier and
more effective.

The ultimate goal is to introduce better ways of cleaning cars and ensure that customers are
happier with the results in a reasonable amount of time. The end product of this project will be a
comprehensive car cleaning service package that is more affordable than average leaving
vehicles looking brand new both inside and out. This service will be convenient as we will come
to the customer's location allowing them to watch the cleaning process from the comfort of their
home.

Entrepreneurship Focus:
I have chosen to focus on Entrepreneurship for my capstone project by creating my own
company "Sparkle and Shine Auto Spa" dedicated to car washing and detailing. My inquiry
question is "How does my detailing plan adapt and innovate in response to changing consumer
preferences?"

Background and Inspiration:

My passion for cars and entrepreneurship led me to choose this project. During the 2020
lockdown I watched numerous YouTube videos on car detailing which sparked my interest.
Watching mobile entrepreneurs transform dirty cars into pristine vehicles inspired me to pursue
this project. I plan to seek advice from a local detailing company "Dream Car Detailing" on
Facebook.

Career Aspirations:
I intend to pursue a career in Project Management following my dad's career path though I am
also considering becoming a criminal defense lawyer. This project helps me develop and
expand on various skills such as adaptability and project management.

Resources and Skills:

To start my car detailing business I need resources such as cleaning products equipment and a
suitable workspace. I will also use technology like mobile apps for scheduling and digital
marketing tools (e.g.facebook) for promoting my business and engaging with customers. Skills
in automotive knowledge detailing techniques customer service and time management are
essential. I plan to access these resources and learn the required skills through online research
workshops networking with experienced detailers and hands-on practice.

Mentorship and Challenges:

I will seek mentorship from "Dream Car Detailing" to address any confusion I encounter such as
selecting the right pressure washers. A challenge I faced was a misunderstanding with a
potential mentor who assumed we were partners despite clear communication. This experience
improved my communication and critical thinking skills. It taught me the importance of clear
assertive communication which I applied when reaching out to "Dream Car Detailing."
