RESOLUTION RE-ALIGNING THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED

TWENTY-FIVE PESOS (PHP707,925.00) PESOS ALLOTED FROM FY2022 AND FY2023 UNDER 20%
DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MULTI-PURPOSE HALL (EVACUATION CENTER) TO
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREET LIGHTS.

WHEREAS, said amount are continuing appropriations from the unexpended balances from FY2022 and
FY2023 under 20% Development Fund for the Improvement of Multi-Purpose Hall (Evacuation Center) of
the Barangay;

WHEREAS, said allocations was not implemented due to the reason that the Municipal Local
Government Unit shared the barangay administration the amount of One Million Pesos
(Php1,000,000.00) this FY2024 under their 20% Development Fund for the completion of said
Evacuation Center;

Whereas, the amount to be re-aligned will be used for the Construction and Installation of Solar Street
Lights to be put up in to various streets within the territorial jurisdiction of Barangay Calaocan;

WHEREAS, Barangay Calaocan, consist of eight (8) puroks with 3,699 population and 880
household and their security is our primary concern from any crime and vehicular accidents;

WHEREAS, there are barangay roads that are dark and not illuminated due to the absence of
street lighting system, hence, compromise the safety and comfort of the road users, riding
public and residents with in the barangay;

WHEREAS, Solar Street Lights are independent of the utility grid and consequently lessen
operation costs than conventional street lights;

NOW THEREFORE, on unanimous motion of the august body it was;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, re-aligning the amount of Seven Hundred Seven Thousand Nine
Hundred Twenty-Five Pesos (Php707,925.00) Pesos alloted from FY2022 and FY2023 under 20%
Development Fund for the Improvement of Multi-Purpose Hall (Evacuation Center) to construction and
installation of solar street lights.

RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF BAMBANG, NUEVA VIZCAYA

HEADED BY THE HON. BENJAMIN LL. CUARESMA, III, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO RE-ALIGN THE AMOUNT
OF FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP400,000.00) FOR THE CONCRETING OF NAMUOG FARM TO
ROAD TO WIDENING AND CONCRETING OF DINILI FARM TO MARKET ROAD, SITIO PUNAWA,
CALAOCAN, BAMBANG, NUEVA VIZCAYA.

WHEREAS, said amount was intended for the concreting of Namuog Farm to Market Road but
surprisingly the National Government allotted approximately Fifteen Million Pesos (Php15,000,000.00)
for the concreting of the said road;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council of Calaocan unanimously agreed to re-align the said
amount said fund to widening and concreting of Dinili Farm to Market Road;

WHEREAS, one of the priority of the barangay in our Investment Plan is the concreting of farm-to-
market road in order to improve the mobility of the people, goods and services. It can increase local
trade and productivity, reduces transportation costs of farm inputs and outputs and minimize post-
harvest losses;

WHEREAS, farm-to-market road are the foundation of modern agriculture and provide market access to
farmers, which can then motivate the latter to plant more, ultimately increasing their production and
income;

NOW THEREFORE, on unanimous motion and unanimously approved by the august body be it;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved Requesting the Municipal Development Council of Bambang, Nueva
Vizcaya headed by the Hon. Benjamin Ll. Cuaresma, III, Municipal Mayor, to re-align the amount of Four
Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php400,000.00) for the Concreting of Namuog Farm to Road to Widening and
Concreting of Dinili Farm to Market Road, Sitio Punawa, Calaocan, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.
