channels in the Third River (Mainstream), the Caduang Tete
River, and the Sapang Maragul River (tributaries), (2)
improvement and replacement of sluice gates located in the
right side of the Pampanga River, in order to maximize the
drainage efficiency and minimize flood damages, (3) dike
embankment with sodding and concrete slope protection, and
(4) construction of bridges and fishpond gates.

Loan The proposed conduct of the updating of master plan, 76.91% No Major Issues
feasibility study and detailed engineering design for the
priority four (4) major river basins, namely, Bicol River,
Agusan River, Panay River and Pampanga River (BAPP Rivers)
shall be handled by the foreign consulting firm (Consultants)
under the direction of the DPWH through its Unified Project
Management Office – Flood Control Management Cluster
(DPWH-UPMO-FCMC). The updating of master plan and the
feasibility study are expected to determine the required flood
control infrastructures in the river basins including the priority
flood control projects based on economic, environmental and
social impacts, together with the development of suitable and
optimal investment programs. Identified priority projects will
then be subjected to detailed engineering design.

- Grant This feasibility study focuses on the review of "The Study on
Sabo and Flood Control in the Laoag River Basin, 1997," with
the primary goal of establishing crucial infrastructure to
reduce flood damage in the vulnerable Laoag River basin.
The project
ultimately aims to enhance the region's resilience to floods,
safeguard lives and property, and contribute to sustainable
economic growth.
- Grant To formulate an appropriate Feasibility Study with short-term,
medium term and long-term solutions for the province of
Bulacan while considering the effects of on-going government
projects and climate change that can adversely affect flood.
