Scarlett is a fast-learning child who managed to finish the first

two levels of Phonics in just three months. She has great memory and

pattern-recognition, and is able to recall sight words quickly. Scarlett

shows knowledge of a wide range of vocabulary in her spoken English,

and she speaks English with decent accent and intonation. Given her

ability and potential, Scarlett should aim to further increase her

reading speed and work on minimising careless mistakes.

Despite being in a private class, Scarlett actively engages with

her teacher and demonstrates great social skills. She also asks

questions frequently upon encountering unseen words. All in all, Scarlett

is a bright student and a pleasure to teach.
