*Phần giới thiệu nhóm

(TLam) Hi to all of you! I'm Lam, and I represent Group 3's second group as their spokesperson.
There are 5 people in my group, including Quang Minh, Thái Bảo, Phương Anh, Tường Vi and
me.

So…. Today, I would like to share with everyone in here about environmental problems and
solutions for them. Now, let’s get started.
*Phần giới thiệu về thực trạng và cách xử lý.
To begin with the reality of the environment, environmental issues are becoming a hot potato for
everyone in general and the government in particular, and let's introduce to you the
environmental problems right now.

I believe that everyone in here can see that humans have a lot of impact on their homes. I
mean, they have an impact on the environment because, as you can see here, people are
throwing trash into the environment, particularly the glass bottles in this picture. To my
knowledge, glastic bottles need from 450 to 1000 thousand years for decomposition, and bottle
caps take 100 to 500 years to decompose. As the results show, in terms of animals, they eat
plastic waste and can die, leading to the risk of extinction and ecological imbalance. Especially
for marines, the widespread dumping of plastic waste at sea has caused the phenomenon of
"white pollution" and seriously affected aquatic species, such as: Nearly 300 marine species are
entangled in or ingested by pieces of trash. Plastic waste at sea can damage cells, negatively
impact the digestive system, or block the trachea, causing suffocation. According to statistics,
on average, each fish contains about 2.1 pieces of microplastic. This is the cause of death for
many animals. The fact that marine life contains many pieces of microplastics and plastic waste
floating in the sea is also the cause of the destruction or decline in biodiversity and changes in
the structure and composition of the marine ecosystem. (Tlam)

(BẢO) Moreover, plastic waste also has an effect on the air, earth, and water environment,
specifically as Due to their difficult to decompose nature, even when collected and buried in the
soil, they still exist for hundreds of years, changing the physical properties of the soil and, at the
same time, polluting the soil environment, making the soil unstable. Water leads to erosion and
a lack of nutrients and oxygen, affecting plant growth. A result of the increasing modernization
and industrialization, new factories and businesses are opening up daily. More seriously, soil
pollution has impacted the soil environment, making it impossible for plants to thrive. Emissions
are discharged into the environment, polluting the air more and more. To the best of my
knowledge, trees can filter pollutants from the air, but these days, they are badly harming our
green lung. almost the last thirty years, the world has lost almost 4% of its forest cover, which is
equal to half of India. The life of all living things on Earth, including human existence, are
therefore extremely threatened. (THÁI Bảo)

By dint of consequence, I think the government need to give some solutions for them and in
here, I will introduce to everyone some solutions that I think it can ameliorate the environment.
(PANH)
First and foremost, spread the word and increase public awareness of environmental
preservation in general and plastic garbage in particular. The best method to deal with plastic
trash is for everyone to make an effort to consume fewer plastic products and to take initiatives
seriously to collect and classify plastic debris instead of throwing it out carelessly. As a result,
spreading misinformation and increasing public understanding of the negative effects of plastic
trash are essential. Use reusable bottles and wood, porcelain, or other materials for your eating
utensils (bowls, spoons, chopsticks, etc.). Avoid using plastic bags wherever possible, switch to
glass water bottles from plastic ones, dispose of trash properly; do not toss trash everywhere;
proactively classify waste; and use as few single-use plastic products as possible. (PANH)

Secondly, eliminate waste at the source (QMINH)

By recycling some trash, sorting waste at the source benefits the owners of the waste source
and helps save resources. Additionally, it helps to increase public awareness of the need to
safeguard the environment and make responsible use of resources. By reducing the overall
quantity of waste that is released into the environment from the community, sorting waste at the
source helps reduce environmental pollution. Additionally, it reduces the expenses associated
with processing, transportation, and collection. (QMINH)

( TLAM) The correct differentiation of waste types is essential for the efficient classification of
garbage at the source.Organic garbage, which includes leftover food, fruit peels, vegetables,
etc., is typically the kind of waste that rots quickly in the open and releases an unpleasant
stench. Both recyclable and non-recyclable garbage are considered inorganic waste. Waste that
can be recycled includes things like paper, cardboard, and other materials that can be used
repeatedly, either directly or through processing. Waste that has been utilized and is no longer
usable is referred to as non-recyclable waste. Recycling may only be discharged into the
environment after processing.Hazardous waste is defined as waste that has the potential to
cause immediate injury, such as fluorescent lights, broken batteries, flammability, toxicity,
explosiveness, or infectiousness. (TLAM)

(VI) Finally, recycle the plastic garbage. This technique makes use of plastic waste to produce
new, practical goods that are multipurpose. There are several benefits to recycling plastic
garbage, including resource reuse, environmental cleanup, and employment creation. (VI)

(QMINH) From these arguments, one must conclude that Environmental protection is something
that people should be more conscious of, and the government should act immediately to
safeguard the environment by outlawing acts of trash, unlawful wildlife hunting, and
deforestation.
