Series

The purpose of this guide is to provide essential information required for using the EC 90 series.
Nevertheless, operators are instructed to carefully read the user manual before starting operation. All
precautions, safety and operating instructions must be read, understood and followed.

Start-up

Open maintenance door, remove Remove left side panel to access Confirm pump tube clamped and
1 foam block & clamp pump tube 2 valve V5
7 tube clips removed 8 Open front door and lift lever arm up

Remove tube clips from valves Close maintenance door and left side Remove cap & cap sealing from EC Insert new EC cartridge & close
3 V1, V2, V3 & V5 4 panel and connect to main power 9 cartridge and peel off sensor film 10 lever and front door

Confirm insertion & wait for

5 Log in with dummy account 6 Set system settings 11 startup completion 12 Insert printer paper (optional)

Performing measurements Performing on-demand calibration and QC

Select/deselect parameters in Select sample type, volume, measuring Initiate smart sensor calibration 1P or 2P calibration is performed
