It is my pleasure to write an AVID Reference Letter for Rameen Ali. I have had the privilege of
knowing Rameen through my teaching at Langley Secondary School since 2022. During this
time, I have come to know Rameen to be a diligent and dedicated individual who is strongly
committed to our school community.

Currently, Rameen has shown academic excellence as she actively seeks out opportunities for
growth through her enrolment in the AVID program. Through AVID, she has volunteered to
work with other grades, younger students in the neighboring middle schools, and the school
community to make positive and lasting connections. She also approaches all her academic tasks
with enthusiasm and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure her work is of the highest
quality.

In addition to her outstanding work ethic, Rameen is also a student of exemplary character,
consistently making a positive impact on our school community. Alongside AVID, Rameen is
involved with Leadership, Athletic Leadership, the Work and Volunteering Program, the Anti-
Racism and Diversity Club, and the Langley Youth Advisory. Through this work, Rameen has
dedicated a lot of her time to volunteering, fundraising, connecting with the student body, and
much more. She advocates for our students and displays true leadership qualities in her
interactions with others. It is clear that Rameen truly wants to make a positive difference in the
school community.

I have no doubt that Rameen will continue to excel in her future endeavors. Rameen has the
drive, determination, and character that all AVID students should uphold. It’s been a pleasure to
teach Rameen and see her growth as a student and leader over the past few years.
