Intended Use
The Snibe BiossaysTM PHOS reagent is intended for quantitative determination of inorganic phosphorus (PHOS)
in human serum.

Assay Principle
Inorganic phosphate in serum reacts with ammonium molybdate to form a heteropolyacid complex in the
presence of sulfuric acid. The absorbance at 340 nm is directly proportional to the concentration of inorganic
phosphorus in the sample.

Assay Characteristics
1~19 years: 1.41 mmol/L～2.09 mmol/L (2.5th-97.5th percentiles)
Expected Values 20~79 years: 0.85 mmol/L～1.51 mmol/L (2.5th-97.5th percentiles)

Limit of Detection (LoD) The LoD for PHOS is 0.06 mmol/L

Measuring Range 0.06-4.0 mmol/L

Precision 2.13%-3.89% (1.28-3.76）
