Intended Use
The Snibe BiossaysTM β2-MG reagent is intended for quantitative determination of β2-Microglobulin in human serum.

Assay Principle
The β2-MG assay adopts a latex transmission immunoturbidimetric method.The anti-human β2-MG antibody
coated on the latex particle reacts with β2-MG in the sample. The sample turbidity increased because of the
formation of insoluble atntigen/antibody compleses. The degree of change in absorbance is proportional to the
concentration of β2-MG. The concentration of β2-MG in the sample can be calculated as compared to the
calibrators treated by the same process.

Assay Characteristics
Expected Values ＜3.00 mg/L (2.5th-97.5th percentiles)

Limit of Detection (LoD) The LoD for β2-MG is 0.1 mg/L.

Measuring Range 0.20-18.00 mg/L.

Precision 1.77%-5.61% (2.53-13.15）
