CÂU ĐIỀU KIỆN LOẠI 0

I. Định nghĩa và công thức:

Định nghĩa: Câu điều kiện loại 0 được dùng để giải thích một sự thật hiển nhiên hoặc các sự
kiện mang tính khoa học, chân lý (quy luật thời tiết, vũ trụ, thiên nhiên). Dạng câu này cũng
được sử dụng để diễn tả một thói quen xảy ra khi điều kiện được đề cập tới xảy ra trước.

Mệnh đề If (Nếu) Mệnh đề chính (Thì)

If + S + V(s, es) …, S + V(s, es) …

Eg:
 If you heat ice, it melts. → chân lý
 If you freeze water, it becomes solid. → chân lý
 If it rains tomorrow, I'll take the car. → sự thật
 If Jenny get up, she brush her teeth first. → thói quen

II. Cách dùng:

- Dùng để diễn tả một chân lý, sự thật hiển nhiên

Eg: If babies are hungry, they cry.
If people eat too much, they get fat.

- Dùng để yêu cầu, nhờ vả, giúp đỡ hoặc nhắn nhủ một điều gì đó
Eg: If you can play chess, teach Jenny how to play.
If you can solve this exercise, please show me how to do it .

- Dùng để diễn tả một thói quen, hành động hoặc sự việc thường xuyên xảy ra.
Eg: If I’m tired, I go to bed early.
 I usually cycle on weekends if the weather is good.

III. Dạng đảo ngữ của câu điều kiện loại 1:

Đối với động từ To be Đối với động từ thường

Should + S1 + (not) + be + Adj/N, S2 + V Should + S1 + (not) + V-inf, S2 +V2

Ví dụ: Ví dụ:
If she’s back, please let her know that I came. If we leave a block of ice out of the freezer, it melts.

→ Should she be back, please let her know that → Should we leave a block of ice out of the freezer,

I came. it melts.
