The basis of temperature rise is that the heat developed in the conductor by resistive loss is
dissipated to surrounding atmosphere by

 Radiation to surrounding objects

(SIGMA * SIGMA) * [ SIGMA + 42.501 ] = 9.059
Solving the above equation for SIGMA,

Solving the Equation of Sag

6. EVALUATION OF CONDUCTOR DEFLECTION AND TENSION - WITH WIND

----------------------------------------------

A) Equation for Sag:

------------------------
SUM OF CROSSFORCE AREAS WITH WIND LOAD
SAG AT TEMP T UPTO THE POINT
= -----------------------------------------
AT A POINT SIGMA AT T WITH WIND LOAD * AREA

B) Equation for Swing:

-------------------
Swing angle for conductor at sag point (rad.), SWANG
= InvTan (W2/W1)
SWING AT TEMP T (VERTICAL)= SAG AT TEMP T * COS (SWANG)

Evaluation of conductor Tension and Swing at 75 deg. C

----------------------------------------------------
at the maximum sag point
------------------------
SIGMA1 = 3.824 kg/ sq.mm
SM1 = 74058.554 sq.kg m
T0 = 5 deg. C
SM2 = 74058.554 sq.kg m
T1 = 75 deg. C
Substituting the above values in the Equation of Swing
(SIGMA * SIGMA) * [ SIGMA - 3.824 + 36.164 + 10.161 ]
= 528.854
(SIGMA * SIGMA) * [ SIGMA + 42.501 ] = 528.854
Solving the above equation for SIGMA,
SIGMA = 3.395 kg/ sq.mm
Solving the Equation of Sag
SAG at 75 deg. C = 473.82 / (261.5 * 3.395 )
= 0.534 m
Solving the Equation of SWING
SWING at 75 deg. C = 0.534* COS (1.284)
= 0.151 m
