JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for abrasive blasting & Painting of structural steel, Tanks, Vessels, Ducts, &
Pipes at workshop & site.
Daily planning for job & allocation of manpower.
Coordination with client, project department & quality department for schedule &
technical issues.
Implementation of all QC Standards, Specifications, Approved coating systems during
production & shut down activities.
Keep record of climatic condition, RH, DBT, WBT, MT & DP.
Inspection of garnet quality, conduct blotter test to check the garnet quality if required.
After blasting operation inspection of surface profile with testex tape & other damages
& keep the record.
Check paint specification as per procedure/client specification/manufacture data sheet.
Physically check paint expiry date & RAL #.
Monitoring paint mixing ratio, pot life & application method.
Keep record of WFT (Wet Film Thickness) & DFT (Dry Film Thickness)
Note down the paint film dry to touch time & recoat interval time.
Conduct Adhesion Test if required.
Arrange Holiday detection of paint if required; mark the missing area for repair.
Final measurement of DFT as per SSPC PA-2 or as per client requirement, & check the
job thoroughly.
Monitoring of daily insulation work.
To kill the punch list items.
Keep calibration record of all quality control material.
Implementation of HSE Rules as per Aramco standard.
