Timetable of OCL lesson:

Time Activity Role


Before 0830 Activation of OCL Lecturers and Students will be notified of the OCL
lesson.
0830 – 0840 Start of Phase 1: Students to download the problem statement,
Attendance-taking* and worksheet, resources and this set of instructions
Release of Lesson while off-campus.
Materials
0840 – 0930 Analysis of Problem Students to work on responding to the problem,
Statement and guided by the worksheet. They can discuss this

0930 – 1005 Break
1005 – 1145 Start of Phase 2: • Students to continue to collaborate with their

 1005 -1025am: Team 1
 1025-1045am: Team 2
 1045-1105am: Team 3
 1105-1125am: Team 4

1330 – 1530 Start of Phase 3: • Students to submit a group response to the

• Groups to share and present their response to
the problem using Microsoft Teams.
By 1530 End of Phase 3: Sharing The lecturer will share and present 6th

1530 – 2359 Assessments Students to individually complete and submit:
(Compulsory  Quiz, self- and peer-assessment and RJ.

Attendance taking*:

 Lecturers mark all students as “Present” at the beginning of the OCL lesson.
 In the event that a student submits none of the assigned deliverables and did not participate
in any online activities for that day by 2359 hours, lecturers will update LEO2.0 attendance
page by the following day to convert the student’s attendance to “Absent”.
 There is no “Late”, “Partial” or “Late and partial” for an OCL lesson.
 The attendance during an OCL will count towards the attendance requirements of the
respective modules.
 The Leave of Absence (LOA) policy and Module Grade Computation remains applicable.
