About not being able to reply sooner, don’t worry! I sometimes get busy with other stuff too and
forget to check my emails. Actually, I went to the coast too, but it wasn’t to visit my cousins like
you but to go to a music concert there.

Thanks for the invite, your cousins seem like very nice people, I love making new friends,
especially when they are energetic! But unfortunately, I won't be able to come to the meeting
because I will be going on exchange in Canada. Have you ever been there?

Oh my god!! You look so cool in this picture, I wish I could surf, but I never tried because I’m
afraid of the sea. Although I'm thinking about trying to go scuba diving to see if I can overcome
it. Other than that, I really love playing tennis, I think I will never get tired of it. It's so relaxing but
also exciting! I could teach you one day if you want to so we can play together ;)

 As soon as we set off, things started to go wrong. Luiza, Francisco, Enzo and I had been
planning this trip for such a long time, we couldn't handle any problems at that point. Shortly
after we arrived at the hotel, we realized that we had forgotten the receipt for the reservation.
We were doomed!!
Immediately, an enormous argument started. Enzo was so furious that he started to look
in everyone's bag, at one point he even threw someone's clothes on the floor. Luiza started to
cry, desperate as she imagined all the worst possible futures, what if the trip was ruined? What
if we had spent all that money for nothing? Well, he had to do something. While Luiza tried to
think of a solution, I decided to, in some way, convince the hostess, I had never felt so nervous
before in all my life! Meanwhile, Enzo freaked out. Finally, Francisco decided to call our parents,
we could only wait.
Suddenly, his face brightened and he immediately felt relieved; they had a photo of the
receipt! After we all had calmed down, we got the key. In the end, it was just one small drama
episode, like always.

Dear Turtle Centre's team

I am writing in response to the advertisement for volunteers in order to save turtles.

I am very interested in the opportunity to participate in looking after young turtles during
summer! However, I am not familiar with the dates of those activities, so I would be grateful if it
would be possible to send me further information about the period of time concerned so I can
organize myself and book a flight ticket with antecedence.

Regarding the accommodation, I would also like to know more about it, and acknowledge what I
have to bring with me depending on the type of accommodation and what is included inside.

Also, I am currently studying marine biology at university so it would be very beneficial to go

diving since I don't live near the coast.

I think I suit this job perfectly because I consider myself very dedicated and I have no problems
when it comes to working with other volunteers.
