3 Tests on plug connections of L module

Tests of components and wiring, if malfunctions have occurred during function

check 09.3.2.

Prerequisites for test

Vehicle voltage 24 V
Test module installed

Special tools

Commercially available tool

Multimeter e.g. made by Sun, DMM-5, by Fluke, 23-DB or 83-DB

and by Hermann, AVO Meter 2003
Socket tester e.g. made by Erich Jäger GmbH, 6380 Bad Homburg,
order No. 1P 1425, 24 V, 7-pole

Contact box connection

Connect test cable harness and contact box with ignition switched off and
perform required measurements with multimeter.

Note
- Cables, plug connections and fuses are taken into consideration during
the tests and in the event of a fault display should be once again
separately tested for interruption, good contact and correct connection in
accordance with the respective valid wiring diagram.

- Flasher (turn signal) lights should be tested via module W.
