MANOLO: Hello Jorge, good afternoon! What are you doing?

JORGE: Hello Manolo, good afternoon! I'm comparing my old phone with a new one, which I
just bought.

MANOLO: Mmm… Really? And which one has better technology?

JORGE: The new phone has the most developed technology because the old one only has a
keyboard and the new one has a touch screen.

MANOLO: You are right about that, because the new phones have a more developed level of
technology.

JORGE: Mmm... yes, it also serves various functions, whereas the old phone only works for
calls and text messages.

MANOLO: how much did the new phone cost you?

JORGE: Seven hundred soles were cheap for me, they had a discount at the shopping center.

MANOLO: impressive, and how is the material and what color is your new phone compared to
the old one?

JORGE: The seller told me that the new phone is made of tin and glass, they are easy to break,
whereas my old phone is very hard and has not broken for years. And the color is not that
different because they are both black.

MANOLO: that's good, and in what functions do they differ?

JORGE: My new phone is very different from the old one because the new one is useful for
many things, such as using social networks and digital platforms, while the old one only works
for calls and text messages. And you have an old device and a new one?

MANOLO: Yes, I recently bought a new laptop for university work and I have an old laptop at
home.

JORGE: Interesting, and how was the price of both laptops?

MANOLO: The old one cost me twelve hundred soles and the new one cost me two thousand
soles.

JORGE: the prices of new devices are more expensive than the old ones. How are the functions
of both laptops?

MANOLO: My new laptop is touch-sensitive and has more functions such as artificial
intelligence, whereas my old laptop is limited in that aspect. Furthermore, the Microsoft is less
developed.

JORGE: You are absolutely right about that, what size is your new laptop compared to the old
one?

MANOLO: it is thinner and less heavy, and my old laptop is wider and too heavy.

JORGE: I understand, apparently new devices are developed to be more useful.
