10 min Have a speaking over part 3 – ask them to tell a story
5 min Play a miming game: fishing, basketball, snowboarding, table tennis,
swimming, golf, ice skating, volleyball, sailing, hockey
30 min Work in SB page 65 (homework)
A. Ask questions “do you enjoy racing? Who can ride a bike\
swim\run\ski really fast? How would they feel if they won a
race? Or lose it? (DO EXERCISE AFTER THAT) also explain
word “cycle” as verb or “cyclist”
B. Write words on board “while, because, to or so”. We use
“while” and “when” to talk about the things that happening
in the same time. Explain “to” for purpose, write a sentence
“Nick cycled to the shopping … buy a bat”. When we talk
about why we doing something – we use “to”. Explain
“because” by adding another sentence on board after the
first one (Nick wanted to play tennis). If we want to use
“because” we need to put the sentence that explains reason
(answers “why?”) last. If we wanted to use “so” we need to
put sentence that explains reason (answers “why?”) first.
Revise it, then check.
C. Read first sentence; ask a question “are they going for
summer holiday or winter holiday? How do you know?”
Look at 1st example, how many words in the answer? (3)
Look at the 2nd example, how many words in the answer? (1)
how do you know it’s the answer? Who can find it?

A. We have different pictures and five sentences, they have to
match them with the picture.
B. Give them 1 minute to carefully look through the pictures
and create a story in their head. Then they have to write it
(25+ words)
