iCOM2 Board Software Installation Instructions

1. Download the ‘xbp’ file to a blank USB Flash Drive. If the flash drive has any
other files on the drive with ‘xbp’ they must be removed from flash drive before
loading the control board firmware.
2. Insert the flash drive into the P76 USB port on the iCOM board. (The P75 port
will not work for this purpose.)
3. A few seconds after inserting the USB flash drive, the DS25 LED with light up
green.
4. If you want to continue to upgrade the firmware, push the S3 button (near the
DS25 LED) within 15 seconds.
5. After the S3 button is pushed, the LED will blink blue and the firmware will
update.
6. On completion, the LED will blink fast green and the board will reboot with the
new firmware.
7. Remove the USB flash drive any time after the board reboots.
