Cam 8 - Test 3

Two diagrams illustrate different stages and equipment used in the process of making concrete for
building construction from product cement process to mixing concrete process.

At the beginning, both clay and limestone are put into the crusher together to create powder. Then,
the mixer well mixes the powder, and it passes onto the rotating heater where the high temperature
flame heats it. After that, the heated mixture powder is moved to the grinder by the conveyer, in the
final step, cement is created by grinding the mixture to get the finest, then it is bagged in the
package.

At the second process, the concrete for building purpose is made from a special recipe with a
specific ratio mixture of four gradients: cement, water, sand and gravel. The mixture ratio is
measured by the percentage of each gradient. First, the sand with 25% is put into the concrete
mixer, then the most gradient ratio is 50% of gravel or small stones to enhance the water resistance
ability. Then, while the concrete mixer is operating, it rotates by the clockwise, the paste which is
made from 15% of cement and 10% of water is put into the mixer. Finally, The concrete is created
from the reaction of cement with water through the process called concrete hydrated that harden it
over several hours as soon as it is mixed together. As the result, the concrete fluid so it is easily
poured and molded into shape.
