These speccifications include gen eral requireements thatt are applicaable to all types
t of hott
mix asphaltts irrespective of gradaation of agg
gregate, kind and quanntity of asphhalt cement,
or pavement use. Deviations fro om these ge eneral requuirements wwill be indiccated in the

specific req
quirements for each typpe.

3.1.1 Materials

The hot mix asphalt shall be com mpacted by rolling. Botth steel wheeel and pne eumatic tire
