WHAT IS GRAMMAR?
Grammar is a set of rules as foundation to form the word and sentence become a
meaningful based on context or a situation.

What are the GRAMMARS?


 Word

 Sentence: Simple sentence, Compound sentence, Complex sentence, Compound


Complex sentence

 Part of speech: Category of Grammatically Words

1. Noun: is a word that names a person, place, thing, idea, or quality

2. Pronoun: is a word to replace noun

3. Adjective: is a word explain about noun size, age, color, shape, origin or anything.

4. Verb: is a word that show actions of noun

5. Adverb: is a word that show more about specific condition of verb, adjective or
adverb it self by answering 5W H.

6. Preposition: is a word to show noun or pronouns positions

7. Conjunction: is a word to join different sentence together

8. Interjection: is a word to show some sudden feeling of noun or pronoun

9. Article: is one of three words to describe/introduce noun or pronoun

10. Tenses: is a form of action that use to describe / express the time something
happen. There are 16 Tenses in English

11. Phrases: is a group of words that may doesn’t have subject


or verb. A Phrase cannot express whole thought.

15. Modal of Auxiliaries: is a group of words to express various
situation happened relating to show possibilities, necessity,
permission and so on.

sentence
18. Form of verbs: is different types of verbs 1,2, and 3
19. Transformation of sentence: Is groups of words to the
sentences.
20. Modifiers: Additional function for adjective or adverbs
21. Narration: Act of Narrating or speaking about a story
22. Determines & quantifiers: indicates amount/numbers of
things.
23. Prefix: a group of letters put Infront of main word
24. Suffixes: a group of letters put after of main word
25. Questions: Practicing to making question in any condition
26. Punctuation: to show the correct way to express speaking by
writing.
27. Negation: is a word to state something that is not true. Or
important to concern of.
28. Inversion: Turning a new sentence into a new one
