THREATS
Each faction vying for control of the station carries with them an associated threat consisting of a major
sequence of events they have put in motion. All threats have a goal or end state. The approaches are the ways
in which the threat worsens as time passes. Start with those at the top. As time goes on, move down the list. If
the PCs don’t intervene, the threats become reality.

FACTIONS - HOLDING ON TO HARDLIGHT:

Administrator Takako McClane was appointed head


of Hardlight Station as a punishment for disobeying
the orders of Nakatomi Solutions Inc’s decadent and
corrupt CEO (her cousin) Tomiichi “Tom” Yoshinobu.
Though only a fraction of the multi-armed megacorp’s
vast holdings, McClane has done everything in her
power to spite her cousin by making Hardlight Station
a success. Despite numerous harsh budget cuts her
plans have worked. However, part of Hardlight’s
success has been built on the back of McClane’s
“no-questions” policy for the station’s business
tenants, including her contract with Healthtek AG.
With the invasion underway, McClane does anything
to maintain control of the station she has fought
so hard for for so long. And, if she can’t keep it, no
one will.
