9. Innovative Teaching Methods

Project-Based Learning (PBL)


Project-Based Learning involves assigning real-world data mining projects where students
collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data. This method enhances practical skills and
fosters collaboration by having students work on group projects, simulating professional
data mining scenarios.
Flipped Classroom
In a flipped classroom, students prepare by studying video lectures, readings, and tutorials
before class. Classroom time is then dedicated to hands-on exercises, discussions, and
applying concepts, which enhances understanding and engagement by allowing students
to practice and refine their skills in a supportive environment.
