I am James Cecil G. Ray, I was born in Angeles City, Pampanga Philippines at USAF Regional
Medical Center Clark on June 4, 1983. My parents are Mr. Cecil Harlon Ray (deceased/my
biological father), a retired USMC-MSGT, and Mrs. Genoveva De Guzman Ray (my biological
mother) a Filipino citizen. I am currently employed as a Nurse at Malasiqui Municipal Hospital
in Malasiqui, Pangasinan.I am writing this letter to express my intention to apply for my claim to
derivative US Citizenship for adults.I have an eldest brother named Bryan Harlon G. Ray who is
residing in San Diego, California USA. He encouraged me to apply for the aforementioned
citizenship.

Before reaching the age of 18, my brother and I attempted to apply for the said citizenship,
unfortunately, we were denied due to lacking documents. I did not pursue it, however, my
brother continue to re-apply for it and was glad his application was approved. As years passed.,
my intention to re-apply for citizenship has always been in my mind, yet, I have to delay it due to
a family matter which is I have to stay and take care of my mother.

Back on January 22, 1994, a fire broke out in our house and most of our belongings were burned
to ashes including important files such as those family photos. We might have saved other files,
but since our place is also a flood-prone area, these files have not been retained.

With my intention to apply again, I have collected all the documents, including the affidavit
proving the fire incident in our home as well as the proof of our place is a flood-prone area.
In addition to this, I am also willing to undergo a DNA test process to establish my blood
relation to my father through my brother Bryan Harlon.
