Vacation Employment Programme

With reference to your application for employment, during the summer vacation, we are

delighted to offer you, a position in our vacation employment programme, as a trainee in the

Purchasing Department at our Central Office for the period Monday. July 25th, 2023, 10

Friday, 25th August.

You will report to the Purchasing Officer or to the person he/she may assign to supervise you

during your training period.

The terms and conditions of your employment are as stated below:

1. Hours of work

The hours of work will be from 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Mondays through Friday with one hour

off for lunch.

2. Attendance

You will be required to sign an attendance Register upon arrival and on departure from duty

in the department in which you are assigned. A company’s identification card will be

supplied to you for identification purposed only. At the end of your training period, you will

be required to return the ID card to the Purchasing Office or your Supervisor.

3. Allowance

You will be paid a stipend of $2000.00 per month during your training period. Deductions for

Income Tax and National Insurance contr4ibutions will be taken out from your earnings.

4. Absences

You are encouraged to report to work every day so as to gain the benefit of the training. If

you have to be absent for any reason, please inform your departing manager (or the person

Supervising Your Training) in advance and call in the morning on day you will be required to

supply a medical certificate.

5. Notice of Termination

Termination of services by you or the company may become effective with at least four days’

notice by either party. In case when you are dismissed for one reason or another, your

services will be terminated without notice and without remuneration other than four earnings

which you would have already worked for and not paid up to the time of your employment

ended.
