Look at the Density –Neutron, Spectral GR , Caliper logs of 3 wells from X Field and
top structural contour map of Zone -B from the same field.

4 different zones (ZONE-A, ZONE-B, ZONE-C,ZONE-D) are defined on the log

paper of the Well-1. Two of these zones show reservoir characteristics.

Answers the following questions;

1) By preparing a correlation diagrame, make correlation of these 4 zones from Well-1

to 2 and 3 ( From West to East) on the well logs. (3 pts.)
2) Which zones are the reservoir zones ? ( 1 pt .)
3) Find the thickness of Zone - B at the wells-1,2 and 3. And put these thickness values
on the “thickness map of Zone -B” and draw thickness contour map of the Zone-B
in the Field-X. (3 pts.)
4) Oil /Water contact is at -1560 m. Put the O/W contact on the map and cross section,
which reservoir zones can produce oil on the field ? ( 2 pts.)
5) Which place/ places can be good new well location to produce oil from both reservoir
zones ? (1 pt.)
