THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

What is “the nervous system”?

Your nervous system guides almost everything you do, think, say or feel. It
controls complicated processes like movement, thought and memory. It also plays
an essential role in the things your body does without thinking, such as breathing,
blushing and blinking. It is the body’s command center. Orginating from your
brain, it controls your movement, thoughts, and automatic response to the world
around you. The Nervous System also controls the other body system and process,
such as Digestion, breathing and sexual development (puberty). Diseases, toxins,
accidents and the natural aging process will damage your brain.

Your nervous system effects every aspect of your Health:

-Thoughts, memory, learning and feelings

-Movements
- Senses
- Sleep, healing, aging
- Heartbeat and breathing rhythm
- Digestion
- Body process

What Is the Nervous System? The nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord,
and a complex network of nerves. This system sends messages back and forth between the
brain and the body. The brain is what controls all the body's functions.
