Statement of Purpose

My name is Nirmal Thomas, and I am from Kerala, India. I would like to apply
for student visa for pursing my MSc International Business from Bishop
Grosseteste University, UK.

I completed my BCom in 2022 from Girijyothi College, Cheruthony. Post that

my aim was to do masters in International Business from the UK. So, I started
to research the best universities in UK for doing my masters. As a first step, I
joined the IELTS coaching. I have attended the test and is waiting for the result.

I heard that Bishop Grosseteste University is one of the best educational

institutions in the UK. I chose Bishop Grosseteste University in the UK as my
master’s education destination because this university is an internationally
accredited place of learning. University provides affordable tuition fees, a range
of scholarships and bursaries to support me through my studies. It is a great
opportunity for me to study at your university as I believe that it can provide me
with a comprehensive learning opportunity and skills that are required for a
successful profession in Business Administration. Having a good infrastructure
and world-class amenities in the university will ensure the fulfilment of the
course without any obstacles. I believe I would not only benefit from the intense
learning environment at the institution which will give me a mix of both
practical and theoretical exposure, but also bring to class my unique experience
and perspectives.

I want to study in UK because the degree will be recognized in the world and
UK has a multicultural atmosphere that you cannot find anywhere else. Students
can manage to stay because the cost of living is reasonable. UK also has a
strong educational system, and great Infrastructure which fascinates me to
choose UK.

When I was doing my research for choosing the University, I found Bishop
Grosseteste University is best known for promoting and celebrating excellence
in teaching and related activities which helps in enhancing the student studying
experience and I believe Bishop Grosseteste University is the best institution for
me to further hone my talent in international management. The course offered
by this institute is what I believe to gain overall understanding of all aspects of
international management to allow to make all important decisions in my career
and which will help me to find my dream job with multiple options to choose
when I return back to my country.

I choose to pursue Master’s in International Business as my master’s degree to

broaden my career opportunities and work in top level management roles. I
want to equip myself with skills and network built during my Business
Management (International) masters to establish a career I always dream of. A
project management gives me the opportunity to gain real world skills from
mentors and companies which helps to build leadership qualities and gives a
proper direction in one’s career. Managing people requires an understanding of
the organization’s vision and the individual’s role within this, and it is the
application of this vision that is important. One of the main Management skills
required is empathy, an understanding of the employee’s role, and their issues
within the work context as well as their personal circumstances. I have a strong
belief that the more I know about management role and managing people, I can
add it to my role. My main target is to be a good motivator as well as a perfect
leader. It will be a great opportunity for me to fulfil my dream if you consider
my application to study at the Bishop Grosseteste University. On my part I can
assure you that I will prove to be a hardworking and persevering student, by
applying myself intelligently towards fulfilling the course objectives. I would
strive hard with all my resources and potential to keep the standards and
reputation of your university. I feel confident that the staff and faculties and
well-connected alumni in your globally reputed institute will help me in
transforming my thinking and creativity and will provide with a perfect
exposure for gaining knowledge and experience. After examining the list of
courses at the university, I believe this course is absolutely tailor-made to my
interests and my strengths. The campus life also promises to be a very
stimulating and enriching environment and it would be a great experience to be
part of such a lively community. I hope to become a part of this dynamic culture
which will give me a leading edge to work effectively on diverse teams and
situations.

Presently, I look forward to building my career in international management

sector that will be intellectually challenging but rewarding and provide great
opportunities in the long run. I believe that I am passionate, intellectually
capable, and prepared to set out on this exhilarating and challenging path. I
would like to return to my home country and work in the field of Management
as a Project Manager who is in charge of working with each individual project’s
manager in order to make decisions as well as maintain the budget and cost
approval for each project. I am quite sure that my statement of purpose
demonstrates the required qualities to get acceptance in Master’s in
International Business at Bishop Grosseteste University. I will follow rules and
regulation set by the University and focus on gaining the maximum out of it. I
will be a sincere and obedient student among others. I hope you will give me
opportunity to take a step closer to my aim.
