2nd TERM OR MY CONSCIENCE?

Shame shame shame

You may sit there and ask yourself what I have done for Nigeria or Nigerians, but the truth of the matter
is I rather sit in my house and DO NOTHING than go t there with lots of ‘promising promises’, beg for
votes, rig elections, sell myself or do whatever to get there and then get there and DO NOTHING as well.

What is d difference between you and I? Account balance. Lol yes to an average Nigerian that’s probably
all that matters but of course people are different.

In my opinion, life is not about the number of degrees you were able to acquire, or the number of
political positions you held, or how many elections you ran, lost or won that people would remember
when u leave (o yeah you surely would leave one day)….. Indeed, it’s your contribution to the society,
not necessarily the world at large or Nigeria entirely but wherever you are today, wherever you find
yourself today, and what value are you adding? Today, we celebrate the likes of Mandela, Ghandi and
lots more have we ever bothered to touch base with these people?

To those behind this bill, for your ‘enormous’ contribution you have made, we say thank you. I really
wonder if we are going forward or backward. My advice to you is that you ensure you ‘gather’ as much
as you can before you leave that seat (o yeah you surely would leave one day too by choice or by force
lol) . Enough, so even your generation yet unborn would never be poor. You can console your
conscience by saying in the long haul it’s a thing of choice, but then in the face of reality for some of
those young girls out there the choice isn’t really theirs.

Pass this bill and I tell you in less than ten years we would get back to the point where some fathers
wouldn’t see the need to train their daughters anymore. Imagine a man trying to carter for his children
and a’ supposed rich Senator’ comes to ask for his little daughter’s hand in marriage. The man would
probably say to himself okay, take her but you would train her brother through school and if she is lucky
she as well but we all know the rest once she is knocked up.

We were quick to say ‘Ghana must go’, I’m sure Ghana is laughing at us all now. In short if we had told
Ghana then, that a day would come when we would pass this bill, I can imagine the slogan we would
have grown up to meet ‘Nigeria I’m going’. They are thinking of increasing theirs from 18-23 and we are
going…. God knows where.

I am a Christian yes but I believe this has nothing to do with religion. I respect every religion and I repeat
every religion. I really need answers to these questions; have these people not been practicing this all
along? Do they need a bill to continue? Do they need to pass a bill that Christians should kill only Cocks
for Christmas?

It’s funny how we sell our consciences and everything we do and do not believe in just because of a seat
in 2015. I think Mandela saw things like this and decided not to sell out for all sorts ‘just’ for a second
term. Lol that’s me thinking though.
As for the women, mothers and fathers… sorry to say it’s a shame! If only one person would say I would
rather resign than have my signature or voice support the destruction of our kids, but of course… the
account balance again… I almost forgot.

Lets us Educate the girl child to Let us get married to the girl babies…

I have always loved my country despite all but today, I feel like selling my citizenship with no regret. Of
all the issues we are having as a country this is the first to get an answer. What happens to all those in
prison for having sex with underage kids? They are free now I guess or wait, they didn’t pay bride price…
SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
