“I tell my story not because it is unique but because it is the story of many girls.”

My name is Malala Yousafzai. I’m from Pakistan. I am a female activist and a BBC
blogger. I am twenty-four years old. I think that school is very important to women and
girls. I live in Oxford, England. Nowadays, I go to Oxford University to study Philosophy,
Politics and Economics.
I study because I want to provide equal education for girls in Pakistan. I work for the
Malala Foundation. I have two brothers who help me. We like helping these girls. They are
the future.
