Saving your presets to Lightroom Mobile *without* a desktop computer!

1. Follow this Dropbox link to obtain The BEACH Collection DNG les:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5hrkkh6snr36pm2/AABZwh6ue_tp4cLvw-SMCghta?dl=0

You’ll see I’ve arranged them into multiple folders, according to the presets in the collection. This
is to make it easier to transfer and load them to your phone in batches (since, due to the nature of
DNGs, once they’re in your phone, they will all look the same).

2. Move the DNG les from Dropbox to your phone

Open the Dropbox folder linked above and save each of the les to your iPhone by pressing the
three dots and choosing EXPORT then SAVE IMAGE.

Your DNG les are now saved to your phone. If you look for them in your photo gallery, they’ll
appear as blank photos.

3. Import each preset into the Lr app

Open Lightroom and create an album called The BEACH Collection DNGs. Inside this album,
choose ADD PHOTOS and add the DNG les from your camera roll.

4. Create and save your presets

Open each of the newly added DNG les, tap the 3 dots at the top right and choose CREATE
PRESET.

Give each preset a name (use the name of the DNG le here) and add it to a new preset group
(make a group called The BEACH Collection to keep your presets organised).

TICK the boxes for ALL the settings you’d like to save under the preset (select everything except
Tools, Optics and Geometry).

SAVE your preset. Repeat for each of the DNG les.

5. Start editing!

Since you’ll be editing low res JPEGs when making phone edits, the presets won’t perform
the same as when editing RAWs on a computer. Editing on your phone is intended as a bit
of fun.

Choose any photograph and locate PRESETS by scrolling along the options at the bottom of the
screen. Find the preset you’d like to preview and select it.

When you’ve chosen your preset, tap the check mark at top right, then make necessary tweaks.

I recommend rst adjusting exposure, then white balance, and lastly adjusting any other
settings to taste to get your image looking it’s best!

Enjoy your presets, and be sure to share your favourite photographs in our group!
