1. Back up:
In DKS or administrator mode, make a back up of the complete C:\DKS directory.

If you ghost before installing software version V5.5.1 for the very first time, you
should save only the following files:

Cassettes.ini Chimie.ini DensitoBarbieri.ini Epson.ini

Optique.ini Papier.ini Piezo.ini TransportPapier.ini

PrnuB.BMP PrnuG.BMP PrnuR.BMP PRNU_LENS_2_LCD_0.bmp

2. O.S Installation:

Insert you O.S DVD into the DVD player and restart the machine.

If the machine normally starts windows, restart the computer and press the key “F12”
to go in the booth menu, and choose CD ROM as first booth device.
The following menu will appear:
1- QUIT
2- LOAD FULL MASTER OS
3- LOAD MASTER OS SYSTEM C:\ PARTITION ONLY
4- MANUAL GHOST
Choose option 2 “LOAD FULL MASTER OS” and follow the screen instruction.

On question 1825:
Partition size are correct?
answer: Yes

On question 1822:
Proceed with disk restore?
Destination drive will be permanently overwritten.
Answer: Yes (default value was No)

Remove the DVD and restart the computer.
