Starting Software
To start the software
double click the
FlyControl icon (Picture
1), the connection to

Selecting the new access field,
FlyControl will show the log in form
where you can insert the user name and
password

1. Select the path where

Laser’s settings

Laser branch
This window shows the installed
lasers and their state, from this
window you can access also to
Managements and Settings windows

about laser’s IP address, description,
laser Type and serial number.
You can also manage this
informations if you have the
permissions

Here you can disable or set the listed
lasers (if you have the permissions)

1. Select the Lasers
branch (Picture 36);

2. Select the
Management leaf

3. Insert a new Laser


4. If you have no lasers;

Motor’s settings

Motor branch
Motor’s branch contains all
the informations about
installed axes, it’s leaves are:

• Management;

• Settings;

• Tests.

Management show you the


installed axes, the description
and the type.
In flycontrol the standard
types are:

• Rotation (Picture 47);

Management
Motors shows the status
(ID, System Status,
connection ...), and for each
selected motor it’s settings

screwstep ...) and also to
make some tests (reach
home, move manually in
absolute/relative mode,
start an automatic
measurement)

HOW TO SET A NEW MOTOR


If the
communication
port is unknown

Select from Tools


the field COM
analyzer:

1. In the new window select


the com port to test;

2. Select the checkbox


labelled Select All;

SECURITY
FlyControl has a security
management section.
Two different levels are
available:

• Administrator;

• Operator.

Administrator (Picture 63) is


the powerful level where
you can manage all the
FlyControl settings.

In Administrator mode you
can create new users:

1. Set the level;

2. User name (5
characters at least)
