Video Recording Mode:

1. To begin video recording, first turn on the device. Hold the ON/OFF button until a yellow
light appears.
2. Press and hold the REC button until yellow light blinks 3 times then turns off.
3. Video is now recording.
4. To end recording, press the REC button one time.
5. Yellow light will come back on and video automatically saves.
6. To turn off device, hold the ON/OFF button again.

Camera Mode:

1. Turn the device on by holding ON/OFF button until a yellow light appears.
2. To take a picture, simply press the REC button one time. The yellow light will blink one
time.

3. The picture has been taken and automatically saved.


4. To turn off device, hold the ON/OFF button again.

Charging Mode:

 Charge the device through the USB by plugging into computer or wall adapter.
 While charging, yellow light will blink slowly or stay on the whole time. While the light
blinks it means the files are being read by the computer. When the light stays on, it
means it is just charging. (It is also charging while the light blinks) When the device stops
blinking or the yellow light stays off, it is completely charged.

Time and Date Stamp Setup:

1. To set an accurate time/date stamp you will need to plug the device into the computer
using the USB.
2. When the device opens on your computer, select “Open Folder to View Files.”
a. If the device does NOT open automatically, go to “Computer” and then select the
device.
3. Two files should then show up on the device: “DCIM” and “TAG.”
4. Open the file named “TAG.”
5. You should then see something similar to this format in a Notepad file: 2012-05-01
23:59:59.
a. The date is “year-month-day” and the time is based on a 24 hour clock.
6. Now adjust the time and date to the correct time/date. Simply delete the numbers that
are wrong and type in the correct numbers.
7. Save the file after changes, and then close it out.
8. Files recorded after this change will have the correct time/date stamp.

Light Indications When Device is On:

 Standby Status: Yellow light stays on


 SD Card is full: Yellow light remains on while trying to record video, and will not blink
when trying to take a picture
 Low Battery: Yellow light flashes slowly
