Miro hacia el cielo y siempre estas ahi I turn to you, and you are always there In
En afición te busco oh Dios troubled times it’s you I seek, I
Mis ojos pongo en ti Señor put you first, that’s all I need
En humildad me rindo Ante ti I humble all I am, all to you

Chorus: [Chorus]
Jesús Señor, Solo a ti One way, Jesus, You’re the only one
yo rendiré mi vida that I could live for
Jesús Señor,Solo a ti One way, Jesus, You’re the only one
yo rendiré mi vida that I could live for

Si tu a mi lado estás Jesús You are always, always there, every how
Nadie me ama como tu and everywhere,
Tu gracia abunda tant, tanto en mi Your grace abounds so deeply within me
Por siempre en él mismo tú serás You will never, ever change, yesterday,
Ayer y hoy tu eres igual today the same
Por siempre y para siempre, Eres Rey
Forever ‘til forever meets no end

EVERY MOVE
LARGE GROUP STORY
30 minutes
● YOU’LL NEED:
○ Brown bag, twine with fish & loaves strung to it
○ fish & loaves get “passed out” to everyone while narrator tells the story
○ Narrator (1), Jesus to show props (1)
● DO:
○ At the start, teens line up in a row behind brown bag
○ Help the kids get situated in rows of 25

Lunch for A Bunch, Matthew 14:13-21

Narrator: One day crowds of people heard where Jesus would be and they walked from
towns all over to find him. Jesus was on a boat and when he came to land, he saw a big
crowd of people. He felt compassion for them and healed those who were sick. All day they
sat and eagerly listened to what Jesus was teaching them and by the end of the day, they
were hungry.

Jesus’ disciples came to him and told him that he should send the people away to get food
because it was getting late and the crowd of people needed to eat. Jesus said they did not
need to send the people away and instead told the disciples to feed them.

The disciples did not have enough food to feed everyone and showed Jesus what they had.
They only had 5 loaves and 2 fish. [PAUSE]

Jesus: show the kids a loaf of bread & a fish. Hold up the fish and encourage kids to count/shout
loudly in Spanish as the bread & fish go in the brown paper bag. (One, Two, Three, Four Five
loaves of bread! One, Two fish! ) Team member drops 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread in the bag, one
by one, so the kids can clearly see them go in the bag (slip the 2 fish/5 loaves in the inside pocket
secretly).

Narrator: Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up to heaven and gave thanks, and
broke the loaves of bread. He passed out the food to his disciples and they fed the crowd of
people. [PAUSE]

Team members lead with the beginning of the string and begin to wind through rows of kids,
every 6-8 feet another student picks up the twine and continues to wind through the crowd until all
kids have fish/loaves ABOVE their head, dangling.
Another team member should be keeping an eye on when the teens should stop. While they are
winding fish through the kids, narrator begins to read.

Narrator: Jesus continued to pass out the food to his disciples and they fed more people, and
more people, and more people, and more people. [PAUSE]

Narrator pauses and waits until all the fish/loaves have been pulled out of the bag and are
dangling over the kids’ heads.

Narrator: Jesus fed everyone there and everyone ate and had plenty. Afterwards, the
disciples picked up 12 basketfuls of leftover food. Jesus fed 5,000 men that day as well as
many children and women too. This is an important miracle for us to learn from. We learn
that Jesus had compassion on the people who were sick and healed them. We also learn that
Jesus taught the crowd of people gathered there - He knew the truth that they needed to
hear. When they became hungry he provided for them, and not just a little- every man,
woman and child ate until they were satisfied! And then he blessed them with an abundance
of leftovers; they had more food left over than they started with. JESUS GUIDE and
PROVIDES for His people. [PAUSE]

Team Member: teens pick up string at end of each row, lift it up over the kids’ heads and
bring it back to the front where the narrator is, laying it down neatly in a pile so it can be re-
clipped.

Narrator: In our story, Jesus did something extraordinary with something ordinary. His
disciples brought him what little they had and He multiplied. God can use us in the same
way. Sometimes, we may feel like we are an insignificant person, not capable of doing much,
but God can use our desires and talents to serve him and to glorify him. We can bring
whatever we have to Him and He can use it in bigger ways than we can imagine!

Transition to small group activities-

Narrator (different translator than read the story): Thank you for listening so well today! Isn’t
it amazing how Jesus took very little food and performed the miracle of feeding over 5,000
people? And not only that but Jesus healed those that were sick and spent the day teaching
everyone there! Jesus does amazing things! In the same way, he GUIDES us by teaching us
his truth through the Bible. He also continues to PROVIDE for us.

We want to share this verse with you from Philippians, chapter 14 verse 9, “And my God will
meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”. God not only provides
for our earthly needs, but He also knows our spiritual needs. We learned earlier this week that
He sent his Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.
CRAFT- Handprint of Gratitude
30 mins.

● YOU’LL NEED:
○ one pre-printed paper per child saying I am Thankful for…
○ pre-printed pictures of daily life
○ Crayons
○ stickers
● DO: Hold up pictures of some things God has provided for the children
● SAY: What are some of the things that God has provided for you? Ask kids to raise
their hand and call on them one at a time, allowing the translator to tell you their
responses as you hold up pictures as a prompt. Give children space to say things that
don’t have a picture too.
● SAY: God PROVIDES for us. We can tell God we are THANKFUL for how He CARES
for us and PROVIDES for us!
● Do: Trace the hand of a child on pre-printed paper (this can be happening while the
other teen is holding up the pictures). Encourage kids to draw around the hands or put
down stickers of what God has provided.
● SAY: We can use our hands to praise God (lift hands up) we can use our hands to
thank God (show praying hands) We can use our hands to receive from God (open
hands) We can thank GOD when we see how He CARES AND PROVIDES for us.
Review Memory Verse Phil 4:19.

GAME- OBSTACLE COURSE

30 mins.
● YOU’LL NEED: obstacle items
○ circle dots
○ Hula hoops
○ Pool noodles
○ Mini-cones
○ Jump ropes
○ Bandanas
○ Soccer pennies
● SAY: In today’s story, Jesus’ disciples thought that the crowds needed to be sent
away. They only saw all the things that were in the way. They thought that there were
too many people and not enough food or not enough money to buy food. It’s easy to
see all the things that get in the way. But, with Jesus, things that may seem like an
“obstacle” or challenge- are things that Jesus wants to GUIDE us through.

● DO: Explain/DEMONSTRATE the obstacle course and have the kids take turns going
through it. Whenever possible, involve the kids in the obstacle course! They can wear
pennies if needed to distinguish themselves as part of the course.

OPTIONAL: Have the kids take turns leading the kid through the obstacle course blindfolded.
Say, Even when things seem hard, Jesus wants to guide us and provide for us. Let’s try the
obstacle course without being able to see. We can remember that Jesus knows every
obstacle and can guide us. Our friends can help guide us through it today.
