PROCEDURE FOR EMPLOYMENT IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EDUCATIONAL

INSTITUTIONS (CANTONMENTS / GARRISONS)

 Employment Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/ Garrisons) is made through the
laid down procedure in accordance with policy issued by Federal Government from time.
 Vacant posts in scale 1 to 15 are usually published in 2 x nationwide (English/ Urdu) newspaper in the month
of May/ June. Moreover, these vacancies are also uploaded/ available on our website www.fgei-cg.gov.pk.
 Applications for all posts receive through online system.
 Candidates are requested to visit our website frequently as mentioned above and submit their applications
for the desired post as per eligibility criteria (academic/ professional qualification and age limit) published in
the newspaper.
 As per Federal Govt policy, written test / skill test is conducted for posts in scale 6 to 15 within one month of
closing date for receipt of applications. 5 x candidates are shortlisted on the basis of written test in each
category/ quota. Final merit list is prepared by 70% weightage is given to marks obtained in written test while
30% weightage to marks obtained in interview.
 Selection on the post in scale 1 to 5 is made on local basis after conducting interview / skill test.
 Selected candidates may be posted to anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement.

 Employment in scale 16 & above are made through Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) under their
criteria/ eligibility. Which are advertised on first Sunday of every month. You are directed to visit the website
of FPSC (fpsc.gov.pk) regularly.
