• Is there a probationary period in this role?

• Who will I report to?

Understood to be working closely with and reporting to Jeremy. Are there other key
decision makes within the company such as head of sales / R&D?

• Can you foresee this role requiring any instances or evening/weekend/away-from-

home working?

Salary and Benefits

Holiday entitlement understood to be 28 days plus bank holidays running from
January – December (prorated from time of joining)
• Previous roles advertised mentioned one yearly free MOT as a benefit, would this
also apply to this role?

• Does the company operate with a practical / relaxed dress code due to the overall
engineering nature?

• Is any PPE required for this role and if so, does the company provide this?
I am familiar with providing and wearing my own basic PPE, such as safety shoes,
daily and would be happy to continue with this.

Company and Culture

• Would the company consider remote working in extreme circumstances?

As mentioned during initial interview, our homelife is slightly more complex than most
due to our daughter’s disabilities. On VERY rare occasions this has resulted in a
request to work remotely during periods of illness. Remote working is backed up by
an extremely efficient and robust IT setup.

• When starting my role with previous companies, I have always requested to spend
time (1-2 days) with each key department such as workshops/production, sales, or
R&D to gain insights into the company workflow. (I understand this would not be
appropriate for sensitive departments such as accounts or HR.)
Would this be possible for this role?

Career Development

• Does the company conduct performance / development reviews and if so, is there a
set schedule?

• Does the company provide any professional development opportunities such as

further education / allow time to remain current with appropriate working practices
or software?
Others

• Is computer hardware provided for this role by the company? If so, could you please
provide the specification of hardware (Mac / PC, processing speeds, RAM, and
graphics resources etc)
I have experience working with both PC and Mac. If new hardware is required, I
would be happy to spec and build.

• Does the company have a current subscription to Adobe Creative Suite?

If no, I can help in creating this.

• I am accustomed to using certain personal hardware such as graphics tablets to aid

with the efficiency of design tasks. Would the company allow the use of personal
hardware for this role?

In addition to the above, as photography is such an integrated element of graphic design, I

have accrued my own studio equipment, such as flash boxes and backdrops etc. I would be
more than happy to make these available to the company.

• A recent PPA report is available if required.
